My understanding was that, somewhere in the 1999 production year, the 722.6 discontinued having a torque converter drain plug. However someone on the forum suggested that that was only for a few years and that, near the end of the 722.6 production run, the drain plug made a comeback. Can any of you CDI owners confirm whether or not your car has it?
