Hi!

Anyone know where I can get a replacement turbo connector tube for my '82 300 D? Mine has broken at the turbo. Danged plastic!

Here is a picture of what I need. the other side has a nice hole in it caused by an exhaust leak where the EGR connects. EGR delete kit is now installed...

If you take the part # (6170980501) and put it in the Pelican parts search it'll pull up new ones for between $50-60.00

If you don't want to spend that much, I have a used one from a '84 300d I'd sell for $20.00 shipped. Just PM me if interested. Mine pictured below

Junkyard is easiest, which I did when I installed a ~1982 engine in my 1985 CA 300D and needed the whole air cleaner/inlet assembly. I later figured how to change back to the frame-mounted 85 CA air cleaner and liked so much I converted my 1984 300D to that. So, now I have 2 federal air cleaner/duct assemblies w/ the cleaners all de-rusted and painted purty, taking up space, plus ~3 fed air cleaner brackets (they like to crack), and a few of the inlet rubber gaskets.

Will sell one assembly to someone local who needs it (shipping would hurt). DieselClan, if above offers fall thru I could sell you just the 90 deg duct, but shipping alone would be ~$12.
