314 vs 265 nozzles

Mercedes literature states that the DN0SD314 Nozzle has an updated pintle facet to improve "throttling", but online at this source Bosio Injector Nozzles (SD 314) - BN0SD314 - IDParts.com , they are listed as being larger than the stock DN0SD265 nozzles. Are these ok to use in a stock om603, or will they lead to more smoke?

I have the 314 bosio nozzles in an om606. They have a better low end response from stock nozzles.

The originals I took out were not terrible but were popping a touch low - right on the border of spec (3/6) were 'requiring service'.

I do not notice any smoke. other than when I try to light the damm thing on fire because of all the stupid orings.

In case anyone is interested, I have run brand new monark 265 nozzles for about 1k miles, then tried new monark 314's in my om603. I have noticed slightly less smoke at full throttle, but barely noticeable. I have been unable to detect a difference in the idle, power and sound level. In the future I would recommend using these nozzles as they are the latest design and dont have any adverse effects, but only if you are planning on buying new nozzles anyway or else the difference is not worth it.

Are there a variety of different Monarch nozzles for the 617? I just bought and installed a set, six or eight weeks ago. I'm happy with the performance of those I have.

I used an extra set of injectors for the process and plan to install new nozzles in the original injectors. If there are a variety of nozzles manufactured by Monarch I'd appreciate suggestions on what might be better for my SD.
