Where does this wire go

Something to do with the radio system ,may be a speaker plug.Looking at the wire its aftermarket . I dont have one in mine .Removed the cubby, box to remove my alarm after the alarm went down .

I have that in mind as well, not connected. I'm pretty sure I was the first person in behind my glove box too. Maybe it's diagnostic or something. Wouldn't worry.

That plug definitely looks like a speaker hookup to me.

It's probably the aux speaker hookup for cars with speakers in the front doors. If you hook a MB speaker to it you can verify my theory.
