Where does this wire go

When replacing my aspirator motor for the climate control I found this wire disconected, does anyone know what it plugs into? This is behind the glove box on an 86 300sdl.

I have that in mind as well, not connected. I'm pretty sure I was the first person in behind my glove box too. Maybe it's diagnostic or something. Wouldn't worry.

That plug definitely looks like a speaker hookup to me.

It's probably the aux speaker hookup for cars with speakers in the front doors. If you hook a MB speaker to it you can verify my theory.
