That's a good idea to replace with an electric one.

Mine is the diaphragm type. So it can be repaired as long as the mechanical parts inside are OK.



***Can a filter or check valve be placed inline with the shut off valve vacuum line to prevent minor oil from spreading? (preventive before getting the shut off valve replaced). ?
