ABS Light
So my abs light on my 86 300sdl started coming on today for the first time. I will come on once the car reaches 5 mph, after it goes through its self test from what I have read. I have already cleaned out the front wheel sensors and have had no luck. Is there any way to test them with a multimeter? I am getting infinite resistance when I test each sensor, but I think that's normal for a magnetic inductor and I doubt I would have two fail at the exact time. I tried setting my meter to VAC and having someone spin the wheel as fast as they could, but I got a reading of zero volts on both sensors, but again, hard to believe they are both bad at the same time. I dont think im testing them correctly. All of my dash instruments are working so I doubt bad ovp.

Resistance should read around 1000 ohms, measure ac mili volts reading should be max .1 vac so use a 1 volt max scale. Did you test the rear sensor?

im stupid, tested the wrong connector. after testing the two fronts again they both produced between .1 and 1v spinning by hand. Resistance for drivers side was 1.3kohms, infinite resistance on pass side. Guessing thats the problem sensor.
