1999 E300D radiator removal
Hi guys.... I'm attempting to remove the existing radiator in my 1999 E300D, I have EVERYTHING disconnected and enough room to pull the radiator.
The only thing that appears to be holding me up is that the AC condenser on the driver's side will not lift and separate from the radiator like the passenger side has.... My question is: Is there a hidden bolt that secures the driver's side of the condenser in place somewhere towards the bottom?.... I did notice that the driver's side of the condenser has a service port for the refrigerant, is it possible that there is a bolt securing that line somewhere that will not allow the condenser to lift up enough to clear the plastic radiator support clip about half way down? The passenger side of the condenser separates almost effortlessly Thank you all in advance, and replies will be greatly appreciated.
