350 SDL Turbo Drain hose

Hello !!!
I have a 1991 350 SDL and for the past two months I noticed oil is dripping from the turbo drain hose down to the pavement. What causes that? Please educate me !! Is that drain tube suppose to be open like that or it suppose to be connected to the oil pan?
For the past two weeks I also hear the turbo making a "buzzing" noise as well..at least I think its coming from the turbo. Could those two events be related ?

Thank you all for your help !!!

Uh oh..
The turbo is supplied oil to cool and lubricate it, that oil then drains into the engine sump...if your hose has come loose, I'm amazed your car still has enough oil to run after two months, there'll be a lot of oil coming out...I wouldn't run the engine until fixed if that is the case.

Not quite sure what you mean by buzzing?

Thank you

Thank you for the tip about the drain tube. that tube has been hanging down for years ..I just now noticed oil coming out of it , not a lot of oil but enough to stain the pavement under it.
As far as the noise a better word instead of "buzzing" is I hear the turbo is whining ...
It whines up as I accelerate and it whines down as the vehicle slows down. Sounds like a turbine whine...

hope that helpsfficeffice" />

Are you sure it's the turbo drain and not the drain for the air cleaner's oil separator?
