300TD Wagon rear strut bushings - cannot find anywhere!

I began noticing a clanking noise in the rear end of my 84' 300TD wagon and after some investigation and accessing the top of the struts from the inside of the car, I noticed the top bushing was completely missing! I found rubber pieces around the bottom of the coil spring as well. After searching for over a week throughout the interwebs, I cannot find the replacement part. Is it possible to use a bushing from the front or from the mounting hardware on the sedan? I have not yet taken out the bushing on the good side to see if there is a part #,but I can see that it's on its way out as well.

Has anyone else had a hard time finding these? I've searched a few junkyards in my area and on craigslist with no luck thus far. fingers crossed...

Have you tried Pelican? I did mine a few years ago and did not have any trouble getting them. The part number was 123 320 0344. They show as a special order part on Pelican presently but seem to be available. That would be the first thing I would try if you have not already.

The mountings from the non-SLS dampeners (shock absorbers) may generally be installed as a replacement.

I noticed that the bushings were different on the 81' wagon I parted out than on the 85' wagon I restored. Shocks were the same, just had to change out the bushing from the 85' shocks.
