Drag LInk to Steering Damper Hex Nut W115

Does any one know the thread size of the hex nut that mounts the steering damper to the drag link? It's the center threaded stud in the attached image.

thanks

Any ideas on the size of this nylon self-locking nut? It's the same as the new tie rods I purchased. I tried a 10 x 1.5mm but it does not fit.

1.5mm seems a bit coarse. You sure it isn't 1.25mm? I'd take the part to a proper hardware store and find a nut that fits. If they don't have a self-locking, visit an auto parts house on your way home and pick one up in the correct size.

In many cases, I've found that MB used extra fine threads on parts that are oriented vertically on the suspension. Some auto parts stores carry these in their "Help" section.

When I went through this, I could not find a standard hardware store, including Fastenal, that carried them. I believe it was Autozone that carried them. IIRC, it was 10 x 1.25.
