A camber problem can be caused by a number of problems: pothole, running into a curb, etc. The actual adjustment takes just a few minutes. The set up of the gauges on the car is what takes some time.

I have never gotten a good alignment on a W123. They hook up the lasers and zero everything out, and it skates down the road like it's floating on ice. I finally have the correct numbers for them to set it to, but I don't think I will be able to find a place with a spreader bar. The Mercedes dealerships I have dealt with have their alignments done by others. I really loved the way the two W123's I have owned drove when I got them, but after new tires and suspension work, it's like different cars. So disappointing.
