OM603 n/a compression numbers
hi guys
gonna look one engine to buy paired with transmission I will do the compression test on it.. so please if anyone knows which numbers I pursuit (anything above is good)... ... and which number tells me to walk away? thanks ChO .

New compression was 29-35 Bar.
Lower limit for used is 18 Bar. Maximum difference between cylinders is 3 Bar.

In my opinion, a better test would be to try and getting it running for a little bit. You can run it for just a minute or less with no coolant and not worry about overheating.

thanks mate just mined some manual piece online ... it specifies 26-32 normal. I will drive the car,sure,..but test numbers are also needed cheers
