What gives with my turbo (oil leak)?

Hi,

We have discussed in other threads the oil on the underside of my car (82 300CD). It was coming from the U-tube, I believe at least to some extent due to a separator that wasnt working properly.

A few things first:
-Car returns at least 28 MPG
-Turbo is capable of >12psi
-Car uses no oil between changes
-Blowby so low that when full hot, the cap will sit stable on the filler hole.

Now, what Ive noticed:
-Turbo oil supply and drain are clean and clear
-Oil leaks out of U-tube area, past hardened seal (repaired) onto the wastegate and down
-Oil also seen in "mouth" of turbo
-Appearance of some black coloration on turbo vanes, but turbo spins smooth and looks great
-Oil at bolt points of compressor body on otherwise perfectly clean turbo body
-Oil seepage seen at EGR
-Oil seepage seen at intake to head gasket at cylinder closest to firewall.

Not sure of the make of my turbo. It has an engraved plate on it that has remnants of some green logos. I didnt have enough sunlight to be able to make anything out. Any idea of my turbo brand?

And my turbo:

Any thoughts? Im afraid of the buildups due to oil/soot in my intake, since I can see some residue eeking out. Granted, my EGR is disabled... Might pull it to see what I can find out... and verify that it is fully closed...

Does this look like a need to rebuild a turbo due to an oil control seal of some sort? Dont want to harm my engine long term due to some oil issue in here short term. Car only has 163k and runs great. Want to ensure longevity and performance.

Thanks!
