OM606 w/ 603 M-Pump + 722.6

I'm in the middle of planning my Jeep build, it will be used as an Overland/ Expedition vehicle. I'm starting with a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK with the 3.7 V6. Now my plan is to do away with the V6 and put in an OM606/ newer Holset turbo( and maybe a M90 SC compressor) with a mechanical pump with 7.5 elements and net around 400+ Hp and 500+ ft.Lb. I'm working on figuring out the transmission situation. I'd rather not go to a manual transmission because driving 500+ miles in a manual could get annoying. I would like to keep the automatic 722.6(W5A580) which I've read can mate up with a bell housing change. But I need to know how to keep the all of the modules (TCM,PCM,BCM,ect.) happy without getting signals from an ECU. Is an expensive stand-alone my only option? Or could I "trick" the TCM? I'm posting here because it seems like you guys know what you're talking about when it comes to the mercs diesels.

Thanks for the read, any info that could help me would be greatly appreciated

Attached some pics of the soon to be overland rig

I'm very interested in how it comes together for you, that it's pretty much exactly the plan i want to do with my Dakota, but with a 545rfe.

I can't help you with a transmission controller, but have you done anything over on SuperTurboDiesel? The community over there is extremely knowledgeable and have tons of crazy things being done to those motors.

Good luck on the swap!

Is the engine bay long enough? What does the Jeep have for a transmission? It might be easier to just do the engine swap.

My Jeep came with the 722.6 (W5A580/ Nag 1) so I should be fine with the transmission. And with the dimensions I found (hopefully correct) the engine should fit with little modifications to the engine bay. I found Length: 31" Height: 25-28" and Width: 27". If anyone has different dimensions that you know are correct please let me know

There is a guy in Europe that has created the controller, and put that trans into a 123 car I think, with the steering wheel paddle shifters. I think there was a youtube video?
