No even the good, low mileage OEM lines are leaking by now. The upper line is a real PITA. You don't ever want to do it again.
I'll see if I can dig up what I used. I used a brand that claimed to be an OEM supplier. I think it was Cohline. It's been about 45K miles and there have been no leaks. Mach4 has a solution where he made his own lines. You may want to look that up. I believe his adds an additional failure point, but avoids the hell job of the upper line. If I couldn't find OEM quality, I would do something to his setup. I would not recommend any solution using regular hoses and clamps. Many of the hoses people used were not rated for the proper temperature, pressure and level of stress required and usually resulted in them being removed from Mercedes diesel ownership. Dkr. |

I have double Oietiker clamps on the each end of the Oil Cooler side of the Hoses and double Norma Clamps on each of the Oil Filter side of the Oil Cooler Hoses. I did the Noma Clamps because I could not get in there and crimp the Oietiker clamps, not enough room.

On the upper oil cooler line, I bought a Cohline in February 2015. On the brass fitting between the rubber and hard part it says Made in Germany.
The lower line was a Burgaflex I bought on eBay for $140. It is supposed to be an OEM supplier and I have not had any problems with it. I did some searching for Burgaflex and unfortunately, it looks like they are NLA unless you can find somebody who has one left in stock somewhere. I do not see any markings on the top of my hoses, although the markings may be on the bottom. I'm not in a position to easily jack up the car and look from the bottom right now. Dkr. |

Can confirm from personal experience those tructek lines are not made that well. I had to redo my lower line right after I installed it, as the first example I got was leaking right where the hose goes into the barbed metal piece.
The second lower line has been holding fine, as has the upper. They have been on the car for 2 years now, and no problems so far.
