I pulled the passenger side mount yesterday. No visible damage.

I'm leaning towards a combination of two opinions (1) the new driver's side mount being stiffer and (2) two of six delivery valves seeping diesel. Guessing the delivery valves are causing rough idle and new mount is transmitting that to frame.

I had a friend help me yesterday and had him vary the rpm to create the judder. Found out it only occurs at very low rpm, worst at 600 rpm. Goes away quickly above that.

I placed a hand on the metal above each of the mounts and below the mount. There was just a tiny bit of noticeable vibration at 600 rpm.

My old drivers side mount was probably still useable, fluid still inside and very minimal rubber failure on one side. Height close to the new one.

Hopefully I can get to the delivery valves this coming week.

(1) Also need to take apart wiper motor and gears for cleaning & lube.
(2) Plus solder two wires on a new old style blower motor so it will work with my blower wheels.
(3) Have a windshield tech remove the old metal trim from the bottom of my windshield and put my new piece on. This is the metal trim that holds the waterproofing and decorative long rubber piece that attaches to the wiper gear box.
(4) Find an old fuel filter mount & tap the input from the lift pump and the filtered output to the injection pump. This will be used to install brass hose fittings and bypass the fuel heater and factory pre-filter. If I'm right I'll be left with the two o-rings on the lift pump, the small one on the banjo bolt for fuel return, and probably the o-ring for the low pressure fuel and air return to the fuel tank. I probably won't tap it because of the three needed return flows ( pump overflow, injector return, and trapped air from the top of the filter housing ). Hopefully with that one being low pressure it should have minimal future leaks.

On my vibration/judder/shaking issue, I've recently done several things to the car. Delivery valves, new rubber fuel lines, new pre-filter, new viton o-rings, new water pump, new blower motor, new front flex disc, and the driver's side motor mount.

The past week I've made a 20 mile run to a shop that has helped me with the blower motor. This is after I put in the new motor mount and noticed the shaking seemed to be worse.

I ran a few miles at 4000 rpm in 3rd gear. I did this about 3 times for those few miles.

Today the shaking, judder, vibration at low rpm has pretty much disappeared. The engine is quite smooth at idle ( about 650 rpm ).

Question:

Does the copper washer 'wear in' sometimes? Only thing I can think of that might have happened.
