There’s a 1984 300D at a local yard that’s about to be crushed - engine is still in it but the oil cap has been off for months and I can see rust inside. The dash and a lot of interior is taken but engine, trans, and the trim is mostly intact. Anything really worth taking - and in particular, anything hard to find or expensive that I might be able to take as a backup for my 1981 240D?

And anything else anybody here might want for a very modest (cost of a six pack and up) price? It’s a rusted and faded blueish gray exterior with a blue MBTex interior - oddly enough the driver’s seat is largely tear free and not sags a little but is still there.
