om606 muffler options

So i built my 3.0 turbo back exhaust. I loved it straight out the back but i decided its a bit to loud for my neighbors in the morning so I swapped the factory muffler back on the end. Still decently loud with 3" and no cat to the muffler but i would like it a bit louder.

I have a pretty nice setup which I think sounds great. I get a lot of comments from people that my car sounds "mean".
-3" piping
-Magnaflow universal trap oxidizer which is big enough for a Ford diesel truck
-Brabus muffler for an E430 size engine

Yes the Brabus muffler looks/sounds sporty, but the problem with using it on a diesel is the tips. Notice how diesel mufflers all have turned down tips? If you use straight tips like on a gasser, you'll end up with a rear end covered in soot. It's especially bad if you have a white or light colored car. Wash it and the rear of the car will look dirty again in no time! BTDT and went back to a turned down tip.

I agree with what you're saying there, Torsionbar. My old 190D had a Remus muffler and I would get soot accumulation on the back end. However, my current muffler set up does not get soot all over the back of my E300 which I was surprised about. I guess I lucked out this time.

Looks nice but don't think I want to spend that kind of money on a muffler. Kinda wondering how a dyno max sounds on it.
