Hi all,
I've removed most of the linkage from the valve cover of my manual '83 240D, but can't seem to figure out how to remove this last rod connecting part of the linkage toward the firewall:
I've seen this process
referred to in this thread, where the first reply makes note of needing to remove the rod between marks #4 and #5.
However, this rod seems much more straightforward to remove on the 300D than it does on my car - mine has a forked design rather than a single point of connection.
Does anyone have an idea of how to safely remove this rod so I can get the cover off?
