616 belt selection mystery
Im looking to place an order for belts for my 81 240D.
My engine number is 05540. Pelican engine number definitions are odd. There are only four belts on my car, and the engine numbers and belt numbers seem to be incorrect. Has anyone recently bought belts for theirs? See attached for an example. Thanks!

I’m having all my belts replaced this week - I’ll ask my indy what I had put on - also an 81 240D.

So, Im starting to observe, I believe, that the Engine # 27799 notation is for AT cars, and the Engine # 86379 notation is for MT cars.
Can anyone confirm this? Even still, why would Pelican say that I need two 13x875 belts for a 240D that doesnt have the dual pulley?
