Anyone have a photo of the w126 front seat...
stop?
I took these seats apart a long time ago to install new (to me) skins and I forgot where the stop goes. This, I believe, is the stop which prevents the seat base from moving too far forward. Maybe it's called a limit or something else. If someone could tell me if it goes beneath that top rail or above it? Does the stop place with the "U," shape upward or down? I took a ton of pictures but this seemed so simple I didn't consider photographing it.

Perhaps my description of the stop is misleading.
It may not be a stop.
There are six short fasteners (three on each side) which hold the seat base to the mechanism beneath it which performs the up/down and forward/rear movements. These fasteners have #3 phillips heads with machine threads which are about 3/4" long. The front fastener on one side of each front seat has also has a clip which it holds in place. I would like to know the orientation of that clip. Its section view is a 'U,' shape. Does the U go up or down?
