Behr AC Condenser for W124
Had a bad AC condenser leak in my 91 300D. So bought a Behr condenser and receiver-drier from AZ. After I dropped it off with my mechanic, I read about someone having difficulty getting a Behr condenser to fit (I think it was a W123) and wished they'd spent the extra money for MB branded. Sure enough, my mechanic had the same experience. Everything is working perfectly, but he said it took some doing to get it to fit.
Just FYI. It was a fair amount to spend on AC for a second car for a guy who lives in New England...my CDI AC is ICE COLD...but nice to have things working as they're supposed to.

When I rebuilt the AC in my W210 I bought a no-name Chinese condenser from the Rock. I had a heck of a time getting it to sit right in the space. Mounting holes were just enough off to be annoying. And you had to transfer over all the little rubber spacers and grommets from your existing condenser.
