I'm new here, although not new to auto forums. I'm not a diesel guy, but i do own some MB diesel parts. came across an om617 turbo shortblock, and turbo longblock...in addition to some other parts, i.e. turbo, manifolds, etc. Got them as part of a "horse trading" deal a couple years back. i don't have the budget for a full blown build, and i'm not in a location where experienced machinists are plentiful...especially ones with MB experience. I'm trying to clean out some storage space and get fair price for this stuff. i don't want to give anyone the impression that i'm trying to get rich on it, nor do i want to give it away. Just looking for fair value. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time and efforts.
