06 E320 Key replacement?

Hello,

I just bought this nice 06 E320 CDI for my daughter. Seller only had one key.

Need to get a couple of spare smart keys made. Is a dealer only item?

Thanks!

Dealer only, and expensive.
Bring your I.D., registration, and title on hand.

Don't forget to grease the screw and threads on the spring compressor.

Thank you. I guess it is what it is.

There are a bunch of MB dealers in my region. I'll call around to get the best price.

Also good to do because those older keys do begin to fail. New keys have a newer design (or at least look different).

the ancient black triangle key from motorola is the one that fails quite often, specially if its dropped a lot.

I have an 05 e320 cdi in Los Angeles and I found a guy that came to my work and made two keys for about $150 each. He was a locksmith.
