Om606 power steering pump removal
Is there anyway to remove the power steering pump without removing the pulley off a w210 e300 1998. I see about no way to get the bolts off because the pulley is in the way. Is it just me or am I missing something? I do have the special e torx wrenches from work to remove the bolts since there’s no way of getting a socket on those with the pulley right there.

Subscribed because the steering on my E300 is pretty heavy, ps fluid is at correct level. It was very low when I purchased it.
I expect it to give out soon.

Doesn’t the pulley have a holes through which you can get a socket on the hidden outer bolt?

I mean you turn the pulley so you can send a socket through a hole in the pulley to get to the bracket bolt.
If the pump has a solid pulley you’ll have to think of something else. Sixto 98 E320s sedan and wagon 02 C320 wagon |
