Beck /Arnley antifreeze ???

Is Beck/ Arnley antifreeze a brand you would use in a 300sd, I picked up a jug at a yard sale for a buck.

Beck Arnley reboxes other brands. My Beck Arnley engine mounts were Febi/Bilstein made in Germany. Beck Arnley 722.6 Conductor plate was Made by Mercedes Benz in Hungary.

That tells me nothing about their antifreeze

Use MB or Zerex G-05 in the older MBs.

Beck Arnley coolants come in a lot of flavors. The Extended life blue is the stuff found in Honda and Nissan, the red is toyota, so is Ex, life pink 50/50

the one you want is the euro blue (if you are wanting to top off) - The green coolant from them is regular classic green found in old american cars, it is miscible with zerex g05 but coats the engine internals with a silicate gel (not the best you want)

zerex g05 formula is cheap and available everywhere including Ford dealers.

Im using the Zerex Go5 now, this looks to be blue and is the euro concentrate so I think for topping off this should be fine.

I wouldn't buy it and mix it in unless you want to do a full flush. Stick with G-05. Stuff is cheap enough to not have the nightmare of dealing with flushing coolant.

Don't be penny wise and pound foolish.
