I finally decided to buy another wagon after years of old Vw bus and 356 tinkering. I bought a nice 83 wagon that had a bad motor. I bought another wagon (1985)that has the trap oxidizer CA emission engine in it. Today I adjusted the valves in it as well as rolled a new chain in. Looking at this, it looks like I will need to either swap out all electrical components in the car like ovp relay, and other goodies or I could just transfer oil pans, intake and turbo off my old motor to make this work. Has anyone done this swap? Any tips are appreciated. I will also have lots of blue interior stuff available for sale.
