SRS Light in for a split second at turn of key

Hey guys, I’m wondering if this is normal. The SRS light will only illuminate for a split second when the key is turned, while the other idiot lights either stay on until the car is started or go out after a few seconds or so. Shouldn’t it stay on for at least like 5 seconds or even stay on until the car is started? I don’t remember my other Benzes doing this.
