Transmission 722.3 NOT Engaging when in drive !

My problem is that when I put shifter in drive or reverse my driveshaft does not spin I have rear end up. The shift from reverse to park makes a rattle sound. Also, the speedometer goes up as I rev engine.
This is a 1984 300 SD.
I replaced ATF and filter car ran fine few days, then it stopped moving when I put it in drive and reverse.
Fluid level is OK.

Can anyone help in diagnosing this issue.
