Post W123 Wagon Parts

SIGH .

I know some one out there has a bent or rusted out W123T rear hatch I can get some small parts from, non wear parts that are ruined on my TD .

Every so often I find a wagon locally but the rear hatches go amazingly quickly .

^ Great. That's my main yard. You need to walk nearly a quarter mile to get to the Euro section but oh well. They could make extra money renting out golf carts. Maybe someday I'll buy an old beat up pedi cab (drove them one season at Pier 39 - Fisherman's Wharf area in SF) and try to use it at the Newark yard. Would need to clear it ahead of time. My poor little feet and knees aren't what they used to be. Pedaling is a lot easier than walking for me.

What, would you want the whole rear hatch? I'm guessing there's an upper and lower part but I've actually never operated the rear hatch on one of those. I don't see them often but if I do I could pick one up for you. What parts do you want specifically?

*ETA* Ah, I see from this pic it's a one piece hatch. This is maybe the one you wanted:

Thumbs up W123 - T Hatch Parts

Wow, THANK YOU ! .

If you open what's left of the hatch there are two rubber coated alignment wedges, one on each side, I need those .

If the rubber is cracked and fallen off they're junk .

I'm hoping to get lucky here....

It's amazing, now and then you stumble onto exactly what was wanted. Just to be clear, the wedges are attached to the door or to the body?

It is true though that they aren't commonly seen.
