I admire the bravery of anyone who takes this project on. Glasswork is my biggest weakness. In the years when I did construction, I broke so much glass I'm sure I will have bad luck for centuries. So needless to say I stay away from windshields. Side windows are easy enough though.
In an unrelated story, a guy once broke into my 79 BMW 320 by removing the seal on the rear window. He was kind enough to carefully unhook the rear defogger lines before destroying my dashboard for the crappy stereo that did not even work properly!
