W115.117 240D - Oil Cooler Hoses Part #s

Anyone got these handy for the upper and lower oil cooler hose? The dealer and I can't locate them in their parts search (or my engine number for that matter).

Many thanks!

many euro OM616 didn't have oil coolers so that's one route you can go especially since you're in the uk

Cheers! I'd like to keep it original, especially as I was able to procure an AVA OE oil cooler for cheap. I like to ensure my cars are as close to factory as possible. A quick search shows these that lines are available online. Will check with the dealer tomorrow.

No luck finding these anywhere. The dealer has shared that they are NLA. I'm trying to hound the Classic centre to see if they can remanufacture these.

In the interim, a source to purchase a replacement set would be greatly appreciated! Happy to pay a finders fee for a lower hose - 6151800082

I just found and ordered the top hose online but the part number is 6171870082. Will this work?

Interesting update - the bottom hose part # shared above doesn't show up in any parts search so it must be incorrect or obsolete. The top hose # 6151870082 does show but is NLA everywhere in the US/ UK. Germany is my last chance of finding a NOS piece.

The funny thing is that the following part number 6171870082 looks almost exactly like the lower hose on inspection, despite the 617 numbering. Im going to try to see if will fit.

Many on here modify their hoses with hydraulic fittings. If the correct hoses and fittings are selected, no real reason to buy anything else. It’s so much easier to go this route too...

A hydraulics place can replace the hoses with no mods required

Quick update - I shared that I had accidentally ordered the wrong part #A6171870082 instead of upper hose part #A6151870082. As luck would have it, it is NOS and confirmed an exact match to the lower hose. One down, one to go!

Found a NOS top hose (#6151870082) at at Werner Karasch in Germany. Both hoses secured NOS. Despite weeks of searching, now a happy camper!
