Does Anyone Have A W126 350SD/L Or Other OM603 Car W/ ASD (Anti Slip Differential)?
I'm working on a 1991 W126 350SDL with ASD (Anti Slip Differential). The original engine was replaced (I think this is the third engine) and now it has an OM603 from a 1987 W124 300D. When the replacement engine was installed, whatever bracketry that was on the original engine was lost, and now the hose that goes back to the differential hangs loose and slaps against the oil pan, which is wearing them down.
I haven't been able to find any pictures of how I'm supposed to secure this hose. Apparently ASD was a rare option. I'm hoping someone on the forum who has an OM603 car with ASD will take a picture of how the hose is secured on their car. Thanks.
