Oops. You are right. Meant 126. W126 are the bomb. I have a nice one owner 85 California model I snagged last year. Needs paint and a hood. Glad I snagged it up though.

Don't get me wrong, I love the awesome presence, elegance and handling of the W116. The 1st S class was amazingly nimble for such a large car and the diesel had the advanced OM117 engine. Just think it would be harder to keep one going as a driver today. Don
