Ever since I got around to putting the fittings in the Jar Lid I have used vacuum bleed brakes. And that has been over 15 years.

I use the silicon hose because it stretches over a larger ranges of sizes then rubber hose does.

Thanks for your help on this folks, I got it fixed.
Upon inspection, I found a little bit of grease/dirt on the female side of the line. Once that was cleaned thoroughly, it is now sealing.

Now I know to be surgically clean with these sorts of fittings!
