@DKR thanks this is solid advice.
I will try swapping out the tire position tomorrow. Whatever the problem, the bushings on the driver's left side are almost non-existent so should at least be a good starting point. Thanks! |

Before doing a complete suspension replacement, look very closely for structural rust. Give an extra look on the right front where the sway bar attaches to the firewall below the battery.

You can piece meal it and stretch this out or fix all that's needed. I wouldn't buy any parts until I had decided what will be needed for the entire project. If you do the whole thing, the car should drive like new.
I've done 2 SDs and needed the bolts that hold the control arms to the body. I didn't need 4 bolts per car, only 2 ie 1 upper and 1 lower for each car. They were needed because the bolt was rusted in place and wouldn't come out. Decide quickly and grab the sawzall if you run into this. I learned that there is no point in trying to finess rusted bolts out. It only wastes time and results in frustration. Both cars drive wonderfully after the work.
