W124 US and Euro Lights

Does anyone know if Bosch or Hella Euro lenses would fit where the US Spec doors are clipped onto the Bosch US spec housing?

Not possible on early US lights with plastic doors, but I'm not mistaken it can be done on post-facelift lights.

I have the pre facelift US, and Depo Post facelift Euros. I was hoping to pull the yellow reflectors for the fogs, or pit the glass in place of the US doors and keep the oem housing.

You probably can swap over the fog reflectors. I have no experience with post-facelift 124 Depo lights but it can be done with W201 Depo and Bosch.

I will see if that will work, that way I can keep the city light function. I do have the proper 6 pin connectors.

You can remove the yellow fog reflector bowls from US spec headlights and install them in your pre-facelift Euro headlights, with some modification to the yellow reflector bowl.

There's a thread on here somewhere about it, if I recall. I looked into it at one point and elected to keep both sets of lights intact. Stained glass paint or yellow tint film are other options for yellow fogs.

I think I will just buy the yellow H3's.

For me it is more about the look of the reflectors being yellow than actually creating yellow light.

Give the yellow H3s a shot if you're mostly interested in creating yellow light. My experience with the yellow H3s is that they don't last very long. I've only used Hella brand though.

The yellow led h3's are great, I just bought some. They fit and look sweet and don't trip the bulb malfunction light relay
