My reading of the article seems to say that MB had to cut the quality in order to cut the costs. That was to compete with the Lexus type vehicles. So I bought one and it is indeed a very, very good auto. I had always assumed that the accountants took control of the company but the article seems to make sense that they did the right thing.
But did I not just read that the new leader of the MB company was going to take the brand up to a very exclusive level and theoretically move away from the low price customer? When is that supposed to happen? |
