Can anyone tell me if the window regulators can be swapped between rear and front windows on the 116?

The switches on the rear passenger window are broken and the regulator on the front passenger window is shot. So, I thought I would move the rear regulator to the front until I get around to ordering the new parts. This way I have one window not working instead of two.
