1982 W123 with A/C Auxiliary fan switch jump
Can anyone tell me which wires need to be jumped? Pics?
The aux fan is not coming on at all. I'd like to try to jump the relay to see if it is a switching problem or the fan itself. |

Check the high pressure switch at the receiver dryer (jump both wires) and/or coolant temp sending unit (ground the one wire). The pigtail connector at the aux fan can also have a bad connection.

To jump the temp switch, simply remove the two wires from the switch pigtail and connect those two wires together. Then move the key switch to the RUN position. The temp switch looks like this: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/0008208010.htm?pn=000-820-80-10-INT&SVSVSI=3303&DID=6174
