Driving my son's 240D while Greazzer rebuilds the injectors for my 300SD
Was doing some work on the 240D and stopped when it got dark.

I didn't close the hood all the way and forgot about it.
Going to work the next day got about a mile from home going about 25mph when all of a sudden--WHAM!--
the wind catches the hood and it comes all the way up to 90* and past and slams into the windshield. The tabs on the hood hinges broke.

There's glass all over the dash.
I was fine and am glad it happened before I got on the highway to head to work.

I'm going to the JY for a hood and cowl.
I have some questions. Should the cowl be put in after the windshield gets done? At the same time?
Does the fender have to come off to remove the cowl?

Any other advice you can give me for the job would be greatly appreciated.
