W126 shimmed floppy interior door lever

Hey guys I thought I'd share this. There is a video youtube by a guy Impalaman who fixes his w126 floppy door lever with a washer. I did the fix and thought I'd share my result.

My interior door lever was really getting loose on the SD. I thought ok, I will buy another. $100. Ouch. So I figured it was worth taking it out, drilling out the hole and adding a brass bushing so I can use it another forty years.

I ended up pulling it and I found the hole in the chrome lever section was still in pretty good shape. It was worn, but most of the flop was actually coming from the potmetal frame that bolts too the car. It was worn very unevenly.
