Hi, I am about to buy a 1983 240D Off of my friend which has the more common floor automatic shifter and I have been thinking about putting in the more rarely optioned Column Automatic Shifter in it Because I would like to have more center console space and I also personally believe that the Column Shifter is a more easier to use shifter type than the floor, I have already found some of the parts required into making it work such as the shift lever and shift tube for the steering column but I am asking the people of this forum to help me know what other parts are needed and can also help me track some parts down.
