OM617 Vacuum pump rebuild

Has anyone solved the mystery of sourcing rebuild parts for the piston style vac pumps in our old OM617 diesels?
I would like to replace the seal between its 2 compartments, the inner valves and the large O-ring/seal on the piston. The bearing and external valve seem to be available.
All ebay sources are for "refurbished" pumps that seem to have been simply cleaned/painted but not really rebuilt with any of the above parts.
I am reluctant to pull my noisy, but functioning, pump if there are no parts to fix it. Worried the noise indicates imminent bearing failure and grenade effect.
Thanks for Reading

With a rebuilt vacuum pump, you get the piston parts and the actuating arm rebuilt or new parts and a warranty. One of the kits has new interior valves. You also get a new exterior check valve.

If you could buy the kits you would have to buy the piston kit, and if you did not press out the bearings on the actuator arm and the roller is still good you would have to buy the actuating arm kit. It used to be the cost of the 2 kits cost more than a rebuilt vacuum pump. When you rebuild it yourself you also get no new exterior check valve and no warranty.

If you just want to replace the piston parts you have to hope a kit shows up on eBay. Either US eBay or UK eBay.

If you are getting vacuum but the vacuum is low, it frequently is the exterior check valve that has fallen apart inside. Note the parts do not get inside of the pump and mess it up.
