Got a nice 350sdl but can't seem to get the gauges to work at all.
The lights across the bottom work. like the abs light etc.
but no gauges at all. odometer doesn't work either.

Does anyone know any common reasons for this? I'll try a few more things but if I can't get it, I'm going to sell it as is or part it out.

go to search function on this forum. type in "gauges do not work". a list of threads where people had similar issues found solutions. remember, persistence wins the day.

This may be a silly question , but did you check the fuse? There should be a couple of fuses for the instrument cluster. One for the illumination, the other for the gauges. Even if the fuse looks OK, roll it a bit to be sure it's making a contact. If it's a crusty aluminum fuse, replace it with a copper one.
