I have an odd acceleration problem with my 2005 E320 CDI. When I first start the car (hot or cold), the acceleration/power is awesome, BUT the power is lost within a few seconds. A good example is when I leave my house, the power is perfect. I have to stop about a 1/4 of a mile later, and I have no boost If I restart the car, the power is again awesome. I have also noticed if I start it and let it idle for maybe a minute, there will be no boost! To have perfect acceleration, I have to start going immediately! I have one CEL which is P2015 (intake manifold)..

Any guidance much appreciated!

It is possible that the sensor that monitors the manifold valve position is faulty. If this sensor gives incorrect readings to the engine control unit (ECU), it can cause a malfunction in the manifold motor, which could cause the engine to lose power after a short period of time
