Hi iam thinking of buying a 1976 Mercedes 240d it starts straight away when cold as its winter here drives nice but blows smoke even when warm dosent smell like burning oil and no oil signs at tip of exhaust not sure if the smoke is a bluey grey or a white i took cap off rocker cover no blow by while engine is running any idea what it could be how can i put a video up of motor running

Power brakes? Brake fluid in the booster from a leaking master cylinder getting pulled into the vacuum pump? Would that make it back to the intake?
