different size openings on top of injectors
working on my "new" 78 240d, removed the injector hard lines, to get to the glow plugs -- when i did, i noticed that where the fuel enters the injector, where the hard lines were attached, the size of the "orifice" is much smaller on 2 of the 4 injectors -- having worked on mercedes and vw diesels for years, i don't recall these smaller openings -- also wondering if this creates an imbalance in cylinder power?

First, I'm not an injector expert at all. The opening shouldn't make a difference; but, it would make me question whether the nozzles are matched.
