Any need to replace rubber seal in air filter ?
I noticed as I was replacing the air filter and I was wondering about also replacing the round rubber seal that fits in the bottom of the air filter housing ? Maybe because it is 20 years old . But I should say , I think It is worn a bit because when I step on the pedal to accellarate I can hear what sounds like an air leak or manifold leak but I did a complete check on all other gaskets in the area . It sound like its coming from the area of the air cleaner intake. What does any body think about this rubber seal being worn? thanks .

I have the same problem, but I don't have a rubber seal on the turbo and I have a worn out rubber seal on the air intake. I hear an air leak from there also, but I don't think it's nothing to worry about. The worest that could happen is your losing air from the turbo to the air intake, which could probably make you have less power.
