installing OM603 valve lash adjusters

I found nothing in the CD manual about installing new valve lash adjusters. Should these things be filled with oil or otherwise pumped up before installation? Should I use some sort of break in lube or just oil on the barrels?

Thanks,
Sixto

The hydraulic lifters come in a plastic cup and they are primed. Instructions came with the 12 I bought that gave great advice. 1.Install the lifters
2. Run the car
3. If you hear lifter noise, run a little longer.
4. If the noise does not go away, locate the bad one and remove it.

This is like saying;
1. Get on a plane
2. If it is going to crash, take the next flight

Sometimes, car repair can be frustrating.

Anyway, I oput new lifters with no additional oil, ran the car and everything was right as rain.
